Customer

The customer agrees to abide by these terms and conditions when purchasing products and services on Hiekkarannan lomat Internet services.

 

Booking conditions

These terms apply to leased and reserved products and services. Commonly, these are referred to as the "object".

Reservation

  • The customer shall be responsible for acquainting with the description of the booking object / s, and the terms and conditions of the reservation.
  • The reservation made by the customer is binding when the order / payment confirmation is sent to the email address the customer has stated. 
  • The customer pays the booking in accordance with the payment method chosen in accordance with the payment terms.
  • The booking system sends an order / payment confirmation to the customer's email address.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat is not responsible for a failed booking but the customer must contact Hiekkarannan lomat immediately to remedy the situation.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat do not guarantee that the object is still free in this situation.
  • If the object is not free, the money will be returned or replaced, if possible, by another object.

Cancellations and changes

  • The day of the cancellation is the day that Hiekkarannan lomat has been notified of the cancellation.
  • The customer is responsible for the cancellation sent in sufficient time.
  • Should the customer cancel his reservation,
  • when there are 40 days or more left to the beginning of the reservation, handling charges will be charged for the reservation. The handling charges are [xx] € (including VAT 24%).
  • when there are less than 40 days but at least 14 days left to the beginning of the reservation, 50% of the rental is charged.
  • when there are less than 14 days left to the beginning of the reservation, the entire rental price is charged.
  • Along with the discount code, the entire rental price is charged regardless of the date of cancellation.

Owner's right to cancel the reservation

  • In the event of force majeure Hiekkarannan lomat can terminate the rental contract. A notice of termination shall be sent to the customer without delay.
  • In this case, the customer is entitled to the full refund of the rent he has paid.
  • Costs caused to the customer by cancellation of rental agreement owing to force majeure will not be reimbursed.

Keys

  • The payment confirmation will provide the customer with instructions on the key and its retrieval.
  • The customer returns the keys of the rental object according to the instructions he has received.
  • For a lost or non-returned key, the owner is entitled to recover all the costs of re-seriation or changing the locks, however at least (xx) euros. 
  • Hiekkarannan lomat has the right to charge at least (xx) euros compensation if he has to open the rental property due to lost or inside left key.

Use of the object

  • The rental object is specified in the rental property description.
  • During the rental period, the customer has access to the property and its equipment as well as to separately specified services.
  • If the customer notices any defects or other objection, he/she must immediately inform the reservation manager.
  • The customer is responsible for the cleanliness of the rental property as well as the removal of waste during and after the rental period.
  • The customer is responsible for the final cleaning of the property at the end of the reservation.
  • If the customer has left the rental property unclean, Hiekkarannan lomat will charge the total cost of the cleaning at least (xxx) EUR. The final cleaning can be ordered from Hiekkarannan lomat at price of 70 EUR.
  • The object is used by the customer during the time specified in the  rental object description.
  • Pets
  • Pets are not allowed.   
  • Special conditions for rental equipment
  • The customer must familiarize himself with the equipment safety and operating instructions. The equipment should be used with care only for its normal use. The customer undertakes to undergo a security inspection during the rental period. The rental equipment may not be taken abroad or be re-leased. Renting equipment may only be used to the extend permitted by the terms and only to the user's skill level and competence in suitable locations. The customer uses all the equipment with their accessories at his own risk.
  • The customer must return the equipment immediately at the end of the rental period to the agreed location cleaned and otherwise in the same condition as when it was for rent. The lessee must inform the lessor without delay if the refund is delayed. The lessor is entitled to charge 50% of the rent for the overdue period, unless otherwise agreed.
  • The customer is obligated to compensate for the damage and costs incurred due to negligent or incorrect handling and defective maintenance on rental equipment during rental period. The customer is liable to compensate during the rental period damaged or lost equipment to its new purchase value. Customer is responsible for compliance with transport, safety and other regulations.The customer is obligated to report any defects on the equipment to the lessor immediately.
  • The lessor is responsible for corrective actions resulting from normal wear and tear on the equipment. The lessor is not liable for any indirect or direct costs or damages caused by the use or breakage of the equipment to the lessee.The lessor does not undertake to replace the damaged rental object with the replacement of the new unit and does not compensate for the indirect or immediate costs of interrupting the work.

Compensation for damages

  • The customer is liable to compensate to Hiekkarannan lomat for the damage he has caused to the rental object. The customer is also responsible for other persons visiting the property for any damage they cause during the reservation.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat do not replace any inconvenience or costs that may arise from natural conditions such as insects, animals, frost damaged roads or unexpected weather variations.

Complaints

  • Any complaints should always be made as soon as possible after the issue has occurred.
  • If there is no satisfactory solution or there is a claim for compensation, the complaint must be submitted within  one month of the end of the rental period in writing.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat tries to handle the complaint as soon as possible but within a maximum of one month.
  • If the customer and Hiekkarannan lomat can not reach agreement, the client may file a dispute with the Consumer Complaint Board.

 

Terms and Conditions

Creation of a contract

  • A binding bargaining agreement comes into effect once the order has been confrmed (order confirmation / payment confirmation).
  • Order confirmation / payment confirmation is delivered to the customer by e-mail.

 

Terms of payment

  • Hiekkarannan lomat apply reliable and secure payment brokers in their services.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat do not store bank account or credit card information at any stage.
  • The customer agrees to comply with the terms of the chosen payment method.
  • Paying against Hiekkarannan lomat invoice (For businesses and communities)
  • The invoice is only for companies and communities.
  • The invoice must be paid by the due date stated in the invoice.
  • If the invoiced item or product has not been paid by the due date, the order will be removed and the item will be removed and returned to the store.
  • The payment transaction of the online store is operated by Maksukaista (Paybyway Oy, Business ID 2486559-4), registered in the Register of Payment Institutions maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. By paing a bill and billing, PayGo / Paybyway Oy is shown as the payee. Maksukaista transmits the payment to the online seller. Payment is secure, as all payment transaction information is encrypted using the encrypted connection so that no third party can see the payment transaction information. The transacion is created between the e-commerce client and the online store. E-commerce is responsible for all trade-related obligations.

  • If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of ordering, Hiekkarannan lomat will not process the order.

 

General terms and conditions

  • The prices shown on the web service are subject to VAT.
  • We apply dynamic pricing to accommodation. Prices depend on time and vary from monthly, weekly and daily.
  • We sell products to individuals of age and business customers.
  • We reserve the right to change prices.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
  • Hiekkarannan lomat is entitled to use and disclose registered address information to direct mail, distance selling and other marketing as well as market and opinion  polls unless the customer denies it. You can make a prohibition on the contact details mentioned in the terms.
  • We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must check with the terms of delivery in advance.
